'Find' and 'Go To...' dialogs are being displayed off-screen in multiple monitor environment.

First, NotePad++ is a great tool and I really like the way it behaves overall.
This is a bug report, but I’m not sure if this is where I should be making such a report.
After changing the location of a second monitor, the Find and Go To dialog boxes do not reposition themselves and can remain placed outside of the visible region.
Notepad++ v6.9
Build time : Feb 21 2016 - 21:27:55
Path : C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\notepad++.exe
Admin mode : OFF
Local Conf mode : OFF
OS : Windows 10
Plugins : mimeTools.dll NppConverter.dll NppExport.dll PluginManager.dll
I have a 2-in-1 laptop which I typically have standing in portrait mode. To make sense, I am also using an external keyboard and mouse. I connect an external monitor which I have positioned in landscape mode. I am working with NotePad++ on the external monitor and everything is okay.
Say now I change the display setting to move the landscape from the top right of the primary monitor, to the bottom right of the primary monitor. The next time I use Find, the dialog ‘remains’ in the position it was last used, but in this case it is now off screen.
My workaround is to use display properties to set my displays in order to view the Find dialog, move the dialog to the primary monitor, and then move the display properties to the way I now prefer.
Just a small nuisance that I believe can be solved by somehow verifying that the dialog is within the visible region: if it is not, just reposition the dialog using perhaps the center of the active window or however you are already preforming the first launch.

A similar issue has been reported and fixed. It will be in the next release. You can try out the exe on that report if you want to make sure it completely fixes your issue.

Looks like a similar issue. Remember it is not only the ‘Find’ dialog but also the ‘Go To…’ my suspicion it is on most dialogs that save in the preferences where their location is. I look forward to the next version (beyond 6.9) and will let you know if there is still an issue.
Thank you.

The issue I referenced seems to only address the progress bar dialog so I’m assuming the issue you are having is not fixed.
