Function List Highlight Style Missing

Using 6.9.1 with the Functions List (View–>Functions List) and when I jump around in the code it doesn’t highlight the relevant function name in the Functions List panel; how can I fix that?
Also how can I make it only require a single click to navigate instead of double clicking?

AFAIK neither are supported.
Active function highlight has already been requested several times. -
You can try using SourceCookifier instead, it’s a really powerful plugin of Notepad++ based on “exuberant ctags” C program
