[BUG] Plug-in 'COMPARE' crashes Notepad++

Using Notepad++ v6.7.9.2 and the plug-in Compare 1.5.6,
comparing two different text files results in an “Unknown exception” popup message and an application crash.
This is a repeatable bug, and it happens every time.

(The plug-in manager is version 1.3.5.0)

Could you provide the files you are comparing, or at least crash dump?
