Ubuntu 16.04
-
Hi,
I’m a N++ fan boy and recently installed Xubuntu 16.04 (ubuntu 16.04 + xcfe) on my old desktop. I read somewhere that N++ is compatible with Ubuntu:- if so, how does one install it on Ubuntu? Simply run the .exe install file?
- if not, when will it be? :)

npp isn’t a native linux app.
What you can do is using wine (the linux windows emulator) to run windows application.
As npp is heavily using windows API I doubt that there will be a native linux version soon.Cheers
