    Hi,
    I’m a N++ fan boy and recently installed Xubuntu 16.04 (ubuntu 16.04 + xcfe) on my old desktop. I read somewhere that N++ is compatible with Ubuntu:

    • if so, how does one install it on Ubuntu? Simply run the .exe install file?
    • if not, when will it be? :)

    Regards,
    Anders

      @Anders-Retzner

      npp isn’t a native linux app.
      What you can do is using wine (the linux windows emulator) to run windows application.
      As npp is heavily using windows API I doubt that there will be a native linux version soon.

      Cheers
      Claudia

          Do you have additional infos?
          desktop manager?
          wine/winehq?
          fonts?
          etc…

          Cheers
