Lost all data after notepad++ crashed

I had a text file with lot of content written. At a time I wrote below string which crashed the exe. When I opened the same file again it was all empty. I lost everything I had in that file.
“<<Private Key here>>”

Is there any way to recover it?

if backup was enabled, maybe, check backup directory?

Backup on Save was not enabled. I checked at “C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\backup” But did not find that file. Can I try data recovery tools to check if that file was present at this location?

if there wasn’t a backup set it doesn’t make sense to try to run recovery software as
no additional files have been created. Sorry.
