Bug: Notepad++ crash when trying to replace many items

I had an xml file and converted it to text using xml tools plugin and saved it as text file, then made some changes in resulting text file; later I needed to remove some extra spaces in order to later convert the text back to xml. For example I needed to replace "< " to “&” when doing Find there was more than 18,000 found items, but after clicking replace All, program freezes and crashes after a few seconds. -
i have problem with the latest one. it crash many times and i dont know to recover my files. i am stress already! why???
