Http5 and css issues

Hi,
While I love notepad++, I’ve been getting a little frustrated with auto complete, it seems that it sometimes conflicts occur with npp and plugins.
first what I would like
better support for html 5 (doesn’t cope with non completed tags eg <br>) (not </br> xhtml had a <br />
type <p and a drop down list suggests p meaning <p not <p> which would make more sense, and yes I know that this can be turned on in settings, but this stops end tag complete from working,
same with CSS when adding an element eg padding eg border (drop down list) it would be nice if it completed it with a : padding: for exampleIt might be me, not understanding how to configuring npp
