I tried really hard to love Notepad++

but I can’t, too weird, for example I open a .sln file (which is XML) and I get plain text with all the XML tags removed. Back to Notepad.

Well, not XML after all, still back to Notepad. And, oh, I cannot edit my own post, and cannot post more than once in 1,200 seconds? Wow, friendly software and friendly community :-)

you may edit your post using the “triple dot menu” in the upper right corner of every post. And you need JavaScript to be allowed/enabled on notepad-plus-plus.org, of course.
