"Folder as workspace" - open multiple files efficiently

Opening files form a workspace could be more efficient if several files (or even all files) could be selected for opening.

I would propose the following options:

1. Shift-Click and Ctrl-Click like (un)selecting files in Windows’ FIle Explorer
2. Right-Click menu option “Select All” (Ctrl-A)
