      Where do I find the regex rules that NPP uses?

      I have it solved now, but I run into the same issue every time I need a slightly complicated regex string.
      Other editors that I use have a link the syntax help right on the S/R screen.
      And it seems like they all have subtle variations, so what works in one doesn’t work exactly the same in another.

      With NPP, I have to go search for it. I know I have found it in the past, but failed this time.

          @MAPJe71 Yes, Thanks.

          So for anyone else, here is how you get to it when you don’t have the link handy.

          From the NPP help menu, select NPP Home page.
          On the left, select Resources.
          Select NppWiki++
          Once you get to the wiki, search for regex.
          Second article is ‘Regular Expressions’

          Hope that helps,
          Brad.

            A post in the old Sourceforge forums for Notepad++ explains all, see https://sourceforge.net/p/notepad-plus/discussion/331754/thread/ca059a0a/
