You should really post all the relevant details (OS, version of NP++, 64 or 32 bits, circumstances that provoke this, is it repeatable, etc) on the main forum. Is it possible that you have a nearly full disk, or that you have an unstable machine? Also, try removing all plugins - does that remove the problem? If it does, put the plugins back one by one until you identify the problem.
