Encode UTF-8 without BOM option mission since V7

One of the features I used Notepad++ for was the simple removal of the BOM. This option has been removed from version 7 as far as I can see. Does anyone know where it is gone?
This is how it looked up until version 6:

I did a few tests with BOM files and it seems that now “Encode in UTF-8” does remove the BOM. This makes total sense but it turned the previous logic upside down.
