Tail function not working in 7.1?

Hi,
The tail function does not appear to be working in the 7+ builds.
I open a file, press “tail” icon and no changes appear even if I wait 5 minutes. I have to manually reload the file.
Please advise.

It looks like Notepad++ does not really emulates “tail -f” but instead checks for updates only when the app comes back to focus.
There is a plugin “Document Monitor” that refreshes all the open files every 3 seconds
