Two document display

Having got the use of templates sorted - thanks to claudia - I have switched to using Notepad++ regularly for text file editing. I had been using Programmer’s File Editor up to then. One thing, however, that I miss and that is the ability to view two files simultaneously and cut and paste between them. PFE allows this easily. Currently I have to invoke PFE if I wish to view a second file; no big deal, but clumsy. I would like to request some means of invoking a second window, within NPP.

I have discovered what I think is an answer to my own request.
View | Move/Clone Current Document | Move to Other View.
