    Running v6.9.2. Double-clicking a text file in Windows File Explorer over-writes the current file tab instead of opening a new tab. Cannot see a way to change that in settings. Re-load?

    Thanks,

      @Mark-Wilson76

      Assuming that it is the same file you try to load again - this doesn’t work.
      Per npp instance you can only open the same file once.
      What you could do is to open another npp instance (settings->preferences->multi instance).

      Cheers
      Claudia

        Claudia,

        That fixed it - Set Multi-Instance to “Always in Multi-Instance Mode”

        Many Thanks
