      I’d love to be able to set a footer or header to print on every page.

      It would be helpful to have a:
      1) filename
      2) Page X of Y
      3) file date and time
      on each page of a printout.

      I try to print out my code regularly and keep it in a binder … just in case. It would be nice to have this info on each page, in case they get shuffled or I confuse which version I am reading.

        @Keith-Rosenfeld

        can’t the print settings do it?

        Cheers

          MY BAD - I confused 2 tools and found that filename and date/time are on the NotePad++ header.

          BUT, I’d still love to be able to have Page X of Y in the footer [so I can quickly put things back together after I sneeze :-) ]

          ALSO, how about a 3/4" margin on the left and right, so I can put my printouts in a 3-hole binder? I try to print out my code regularly and keep it in a binder … just in case. Right now, I have holes through some key type.

            I love you Claudia … I had looked under File … and tried a search on print. I never went deep enough under settings.

            Guess I’m getting too blind and lazy in my old age … and doing too many projects with too many tools in too short a time. :-)

            I promise to go through all the settings and learn 'em!

              I’m afraid, happens not only to you ;-)

              Just to be clear - I mean it happens to me as well :-D
