Toggle comment issue

Toggling comments for languages that require before and after phrases for comments doesn’t appear to work in the latest version. I work with xslt and was able to use ctrl + Q to toggle line comments before. Toggling still works for languages such as Javascript where line comments only require leading characters.

On a side note, I’d like to see the the Toggle Line Comment work with selections on a line to only comment that piece of text. Using the Block Comment for a selection works but if the selection doesn’t span more than 1 line, I think using the Toggle Line Comment should just comment out the selection.

I’ve just updated to 7.3.3 and am unable to get any of the Comment Shortcut keys to work in Javascript on my Windows 10 machine. (It does work on Windows 7).

do the menu (main and context menu) comments work?
Can you post your debug-info? (can be found in ? menu)

I am seeing this issue as well.

Using the Ctrl+Q default shortcut or through the edit menu has the same effect on a .config file, it adds more comment blocks instead of toggling. The behavior is the same as “Single Line Comment” or Ctrl+K.
