"delete blank lines" and "trim lines"
-
when we use the menu commands “delete blank lines” and “trim lines” or their variations, it just does it.
I guess it should give a message afterwards how many lines it has deleted, how many front/ end spaces/ on how many lines it has removed.
At least, this will mark a sort of acknowledgement of successful end of executaion.
Actually sometimes we don’t know whether there are blank lines or whether there are spaces to be trimmed. If nothing is done, we don’t get to know that it was not required. if we get to know that file was already “clean” we will make a mental note for the person/ agency whose file was that, that he/ she sends clean file, so such commands are not required next time. Shall save time.
Thanks.
