Overly thick border around tab bar buttons?
-
First of all, thanks for the awesome product. I used to be a paying user of UltraEdit, but Notepad++ is probably as good and is free. So thanks! However, I noticed that as of a few upgrades ago, the tab bar buttons are being rendered with an overly thick border. I am running Windows 10 and the latest (as of this writing) version of Notepad++ i.e. 7.3.3. Is there any way to change the settings that render the buttons, or if not, any chance you would include the change to allow them to be rendered as they used to be?

@Cesar-Mugnatto Unfortunately, only the margin between tab control and text document can be removed. I’d suggest trying this binary here to see whether that’s good enough.
The change was necessary to keep the active tab’s row from moving to the bottom (which is confusing when trying to remember where certain tabs are). I think most people would say fixing the active tab’s row moving around was worth the borders.

Agreed - I never liked the fact that the tab bars would rearrange on their own when dragging a tab to another location and this is a minor price to pay to get that issue addressed. Thanks for the reply.
