    Line number not appearing

      Today I needed Line numbers to be displayed in a file,
      I went to preferences - Editing and clicked the checkbox “Display line No.”

      but line no. didn’t appear.
      I did several other tweaking to get it displayed, but it just didn’t appear.

      What I am missing?

      w8-32 bit latest npp.

        Ah, I closed npp and when i restarted it next time, line nos. were appearing.

        I was not aware that a restart is required to make it work.
