      Notepad++ is opening up what’s an older version of a file I need to keep editing. If I open the same file with Notepad (not ++), I see the up-to-date file. It’s a file that’s updated by IIS that this isn’t working for. Notepad++ seems frozen in time, and keeps loading up a version from a day ago. I can’t seem to get it to pick up the current version of it for continued editing.

        @Keith-Stone

        Looks like you encountered the issue with 32/64bit files, could this be?
        Sysnative alias might be the solution in this case.

        Cheers

          I would suggest you to double-check that you are selecting the proper file. Are you manually opening it from the File menu, or using any other method?
