7.4.1 Tabs broken & unusable - please restore the 7.3.1- tab behavior & layout

It’s the nth case when I have to reinstall Notepad++ 7.3.1 due to completely unusable and broken tab behavior. If ain’t broken please don’t fix. All versions above 7.3.1 provide a tab system that is practically ugly and unusable.
Can we have the old and working tab layout with the other, new npp features?

@Jozsef-Szasz-Fabian Unusable? In what way? The tabs should be working fine in v7.4.1. What tab behavior are you talking about?
