      Is this a valid command in shell open command? - “C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe” “%1”

        In theory yes but it might be that it isn’t working as expected.
        Where did you install firefox?
        Can you call firefox from the run menu (Ctrl+R)?
        If you want to have it to be executed from npp, normally,
        you only have to modify the path where firefox is installed,
        if it isn’t found by the system, but keep the parameter.

          Claudia - Thank you very much!

          I thought the bug was in Notepad++ and you pointed me in the eye that the problem is in Firefox installation - reinstallation solved the problem.
