Feature request: find in project

I am wondering why this nice-to-have feature did not generate any enthusiasm (no comments, no upvotes) for more than a year.

Maybe, maybe not. This feature is available in Visual Studio, UltraEdit, PSPad, Eclipse, and perphaps some other editors. Why would they all have implemented a feature that very few people care about?

“others” being the developers/contributers within the Notepad++ community.
Why would they all have implemented a feature that very few people care about?
- They make money out of it;
- The developers of the editor have a need for the feature themselves;
When you have C++ programming skills you could post a pull request with the applicable changes for the feature on the Notepad++ GitHub repository.
