Light color new line indicator
-
Is it possible to make the new line indicator appears in light grey instead of dark black blocks? I want to see the indicators but the black blocks are so distractive!

Thank you, Claudia. I seems I didn’t say my question clearly.
I means the CR and LF symbols when view->show symbol ->show end of line is enabled. I want this information but do not want it be so salient. I wish the background color can be something like #ccc. -
oh, ok, sorry for confusion.
As far as I know, there is no independent style for EOL fore-/background color,
instead they depend on the default style but with inverted logic.Cheers

Claudia is correct, there is currently no way to change the foreground/background colour of the EOL symbols, this is a Scintilla feature and not a limitation of Notepad++, there is a feature request for Scintilla to enable this see https://sourceforge.net/p/scintilla/feature-requests/1129/
