BAT file (Dos files) not working after install notpad++

after install notpad ++ the bat file are not running when i am uninstall the notpad++ its working fine. please fix this problem. i am also try file assosiate menue delet the catgory open with notepad ++ but only work when i am uninstall the notpad++ please fix this problem.
i hope someone tell this best solution. -
what does that mean, you double-click on a bat file and it does not run, instead it gets opened
in notepad++? Or something different?

You must have associated *.bat files with another program or maybe even NPP?
