Sometimes I like to search and replace multiple lines with Notepad++ It would be nice to have a large text area in Find in files and Replace tabs so that it is easier to paste text. Is it possible to change text fields into text areas?

      not by configuration, no.
If you want to address this as a new feature, then I would recommend to open this
      on npps github page.

      Cheers

        Hello @admin-email, @claudia-frank and All

You should, as a work-around, use the excellent Python script of Claudia ( link below ) which is able to fill up, at the same time, the Find what: and the Replace with: areas, of the Replace dialog, with two previous multi-lines selections !

Note that, natively, the Find what: and the Replace with: areas cannot accept more than 2,046 consecutive characters !

If necessary, have a look to the next post, for further information :

        Best Regards,

The question I really want an answer to is, how did you get an animated avatar? :)
