    Text file overwritten, it is still recoverable?

      Got one text file overwritten by mistake. Is there any way to roll back or recover the text files?

        Ctrl+Z or you may check the backup, if enabled at settings->preferences…->backup.

          Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work as I forgot to make the settings.

            Ctrl +Z can only function as undo or return on computer , can not be used to recover text files , Check your backup file or recycle bin.

              I did this before making a post in there. Plus, tried two data recovery software but still doesn’t work

                One thing I need to understand.these files were lost on the computer or on the Mac ?

                  it is on a Windows 10 machine
