Search filter field was removed from "Open" window

Why search filter field was removed from “Open” window? I checked 7.5.4 and everything looks fine. In 7.5.6 the field is removed. Is it a particular reason for that?

Is your issue fixed by toggling
Settings > Preferences > Default Directory > ☑ Use the new style dialog...? -
