Folding based on indent like YAML define your own language

According to this thread adding a feature to fold based on indent like YAML is not possible in notepad++. I’ve tried searching for other threads but this is the only one I found below.
If anyone has figured out how to do this please let me know. Thanks
As of right now, notepad++ requires a “close” character but YAML doesn’t require it. So as of today, I’ll continue to switch over to apply YAML to make this work.
