Adding Plugins to v7.6 x64

I was/am trying to add a ruler plugin to NP++. In looking, I found the Plugin Manager. So, I downloaded that, extracted it, and placed the folder and contents in the Plugins folder.

But, not only am I not seeing the Manager, I see no Plugins on the menu at all.

Does this not work / apply to the x64 Notepad++? Are there plugins for the x64?

In npp 7.6 the way plugins do get loaded has changed.
There is still an ongoing discussion about this but for the time being
you should be able to make it work if you follow the instructions
on the website .
