Ctrl-K not working on a Lenovo T480

Ctrl-K not working on a Lenovo T480 when trying to add a comment line in a .dita file. If I highlight a line and click Edit, Comment/Uncomment, then Single line comment, that works but highlighting the line and hitting Ctrl-K does not.
