    Bug during navigation of directories when saving a file

      Hi, there.

      In the previous versions of Notepad++, I was able to navigate directories with “…”, “.”, directory name, etc when saving a file. This helps me from using the mouse. Unfortunately, latest versions of Notepad++ assume that I’m trying to replace a directory when I use paths such as “…” and “.”

      I’m assuming the problem may be with some flags passed to the file chooser dialog implemented by Windows.

        only the new style file dialogue accepts . and .. at the path input area.

        please go to settings > preferences > default directory and enable use new style dialog as seen at the screenshot below.
