How to setup notepadpp with my FTP

Recently installled an upgraded note pad but cannot remember - or find how to activate the right sidebar and setup the link to recognize my FTP server.
Forgive me if I sound somewhat ignroant about this, but any help will be appreciated.

to install the NppFTP plugin on the latest notepad++ 7.6.6 (7.6.3 and above):
- please go to
plugins > plugins adminand search forftp. - select the
NppFTPplugin and press install, as seen at the screenshot below.
- after installing and notepad++ restart, go to
plugins > nppftp > show nppftp windowand press on thecog wheel icon > profile settingsto add your ftp server(s)
