Sure it’s only temporary, but the download site is down

      https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/download.notepad-plus-plus.org
      “Is download.notepad-plus-plus.org down right now?
It’s not just you! download.notepad-plus-plus.org is down.”

I’ve tried looking for mirrors, but it looks like all mirrors like MajorGeeks etc all point back to the source site.

      Many thanks!

You can download the latest version from “Fossies” - the Fresh Open Source Software Archive

          https://fossies.org/windows/misc/npp.7.8.1.Installer.exe/

Usually the download-site being down is only temporary, and a few hours later, you can come back and download an official copy. Being mildly patient is the best option.

Be wary of downloading the binaries from any site but the official site. Anyplace else, the Notepad++ team has no control over what they do with the binary – adding malware, adding bugs, removing features, etc. It might even have nothing to do with the official Notepad++ app.

If you do download a binary from a non-official source, I would highly recommend checking it against the digest listed at https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus/releases ; if the digest matches, then you have a valid copy of what is available officially; if the digest does not match, then you know there is a difference, and I would recommend not installing that version.

Thanks - download site is still down, but both those links above checkout for the SHA256 on the 32 bit installer.

              Thanks again
