shortcut keys in save dialog no longer working

after update to 7.8.1, I can’t type “Y” or “N” to say yes or no to save dialog

Indeed. It was reported a month ago in issue #6223 .

And, as @Alan-Kilborne said here,

There is a method to self-restore the keyboard accelerators. It takes a bit of manual work, but truthfully it isn’t too hard. See details in the comments of this issue .

Doing that manual fix should tide you over until the next version is released with that fixed.
