Hello, I just upgraded to version 6.8. During the install there was a message about a spellcheck dll that needed to be moved. I agreed and continued the upgrade. The upgrade seems to be working well with one exception, the spellcheck seems to be disabled. I tried re-installing that, but still have no spellcheck.

Is that a known bug or did I miss something?

      Thanks

Can’t for the life of me where i saw it, but i read it was taken out due to “stability” issues.

DSpellCheck plugin has been removed from Notepad++ release due to the issue #427.
You just need move back DSpellCheck.dll from “disabled” folder to “plugins” folder (in you Notepad++ installation directory).

@Uncle-Boom Exactly how does it fail to work? If you don’t see underlined misspellings, check DSpellcheck’s settings. You might have to set it to the correct language.

Manually download the latest DSpellCheck dll from https://github.com/Predelnik/DSpellCheck/releases

The NP++ plugin manager needs to be updated for the latest version
