      Getting “File is too big to be opened by Notepad++” when opening tiny files. Also, when opening the app, some (but not all) of my previous session snapshot files are generating the same error.

      The immediate file that I tried to open this AM that generated the errors for the 1st time is 23KB.
      The Session Snapshot Files range in size from 1KB to 54KB.

      I’ve tried opening the 23KB file from Network Share, Local Folder, Etc. (Of note, it opens without any issue in Microsoft Notepad).

      The OS has approx. 3.7 GB of Free Memory

        @Andy-Watkins ,

        How many files do you have open in Notepad++ ? maybe it’s not really a file size issue, but maybe you’ve run out of file handles to use. You might want to try a reboot, in case windows itself is running out of handles to allocate.

        (Never seen that problem, so these are just guesses…)

          It would be interesting to try opening the file in another instance of Notepad++. Or in a portable version.
          Also, if that doesn’t help, maybe attach the file here so others can try too.
