When I try to use Dspellcheck to download dictionaries for Notepad++ I get
Status: Network error (12157 - An error occurred in the secure channel support) On Windows 7 Pro
Or I get: Can’t list directory files. On Notepad++ Portable Windows 7 Pro
I have not found any help on either Github or Notepad++ Community -
In case anyone else has this issue I figured out the fix. R&R Notepad++ did not fix it. Issue was, it was looking for the “Config” folder with Hunspell in it which it could not find even after R&R. So I copied the “Config” folder from my PC that Dspellcheck worked. Deleted bad Config. Placed borrowed Config folder in Notepad++ that did not work. Issue resolved immediately without having to download dictionaries. Used fixed Notepad++ to write this.
