Installer needs to honor existing installation settings

    The installer for Notepad++ always defaults to the original Program Files garbage dump folder instead of my clean and organized custom folder. I’m sure all of the other settings are always the default too. It’d be really nice if I didn’t have to tweak these things for every single update.

      @jabcreations ,

      That has been requested in feature request #9346 … you can go add your upvote there… But there’s nothing we can do for you here, because as fellow users, we cannot change the installer for you.

      (I thought it was discussed here, too, but my search terms aren’t finding the discussion I remember)
