      I often use NPP on multiple computers.
      Saving the settings in the cloud works great.
      Unfortunately I don’t find this functionality for the plugins, e.g. the appearance of the toolbar.

      does it exist

      Otherwise my wish would be to still allow saving the plugin settings in the cloud.
      Would be really great!

      Many Thanks
      Greetings Conniff

        @conniff1 ,

        That wouldn’t be a bad idea – in fact, it was the point of #9168.

        I think it was mostly implemented, but maybe that plugins would have to look at the new message (and maybe aren’t)

        Also, there’s the -settingsDir command line option which affects the config files location – and it has been asked to make -settingsDir affect everything, including plugins.

          @peterjones ,
          great.
          I also found #59714 and #26203 there.

          For example, when I think of “Customize Toolbar”, it is quite a job to set up the toolbar again on another computer. I can copy the “CustomizeToolbar.btn” and “CustomizeToolbar.dat” by hand.
          But as you say, the step isn’t that big anymore.

          If I understand correctly, the NPP settings come from “%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++” to “cloud location path”.
          Are all plugin settings in “%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\plugins\config”?

          In any case, I think it’s great!
          That would complete the picture :-)

          Greetings Conniff
