      Hello,
      I don’t understand why save on exit is linked to periodic backup.
      What I would like is to have periodic backups but also be prompted when I exit if I a file is not saved yet.
      If the periodic backup has just been performed the tab would not be red any more and I would not be warned when exiting but if the periodic backup has not occurred yet I would like to be notified when exiting.

      Ideally I would like to be prompted for save for all files except files with name “new X”.

      Best regards,
      Manuel

        @manu-rozier ,

        You might find that the AutoSave plugin gives you more control of the automatic saves. We have a FAQ comparing the plugin vs the periodic backup.
