Double click a word with special character

Guys - I have a lot of passwords with special characters like ) and * and when I double click with the mouse to select and copy paste in my browser, default behavior is not to select the special character. Any way to change this?

Settings > Preferences > Delimiters >
☐ Add your character as part of wordis the option which influences what characters can be grabbed by the double-click action.
