Highlight All Braces

While working on a txt file, I would like all braces to be highlighted, all the time. I use braces to indicate important comments/notes to myself, and I would like them to be highlighted all the time.
I have not been able to figure out how to do this. Any ideas?

You can start by reading the Notepad++ User Manual in particular the User Defined Language section.
Afteward, if you have any questions you can ask again, but do try first yourself.Also read the manual as you may be able to change global settings to do the same thing.
