Template creation

I know I am just missing something, but I want to create a template with no headers, footers, etc.
Once I create the page, how do I save it as a template for later use?

You need to give us some more context to understand what you are asking. What do you mean by “a template”?
Now is probably a good time to ask yourself whether you asked this problem in the wrong place. If so, consider looking online for a different forum, documentation site, Reddit community, etc.

Let’s see what OP says about it, but I’d assume that a “template” means: When you create a new document (e.g., Ctrl+n), it doesn’t appear as an empty document, but with some boilerplate text of your choosing.
