        That’s quite a short announcement, also I don’t see a folder in 🤔

          Does it need to be longer?
          I presume this is a notice so that plugin authors (like you) can prepare so that the correct version of your plugin will appear in 8.6.9.

            It is mainly a period for plugins authors to test their current/new plugin version against the new upcoming notepad++.exe binary and also to publish their possible new version for the PluginsAdmin in time…

              Ah ok I see, I had mistaken it for actual release announcement. But yes in the past it happened that I had updated my plugin just days after a RC was released, meaning the plugin missed an “update cycle” so would only be widely available to users in the update after that 👍 so yes announcement like this is a good idea
