      Sometimes, the close button in the top-right corner has a very small margin on the right. When I want to close np++ by, without really looking, jamming my mouse in that corner and clicking, it closes the fullscreen program behind np++, not np++ itself.
      I have 3 displays, and it happens only on one:

      1. 2560x1600, scaling 125%
      2. 2560x1440, scaling 100%
      3. 1050x1680, scaling 100%

      It happens only on display 2. When I put my mouse on the close button, it turns red. But when I move my mouse to the right against the side of that display, the red disappears, signalling it hasn’t focus anymore. A click will then go to the close button of the fullscreen program behind it.
      That’s a bit annoying.
      If I’m not the only one: can it be fixed?

      Kind regards,
      Kees

        You’re not. There is at least one and probably several already-open issues about it on the bug-tracker website, which is HERE if you’d like to have a look.

        I believe the problem relates to the larger problem binned as “full high-DPI” support, something Notepad++ does not completely have (mainly because it is a very old legacy application).

        can it be fixed?

        Most everything can be fixed; it just takes time and effort. But as Notepad++ is an all-volunteer endeavor, it just hasn’t been tackled yet.

          @Alan-Kilborn is right, e.g. #15639 or #15557.

          Notepad++ needs to be a Per-Monitor (V2) app.

          You can try this workaround:
