          @donho Awesome! I’ve been checking the updates and hoping for this! I have a security environment which insists on digitally signed applications.

          I do see the SHA-256 GlobalSign certificate but what is the SHA-512 root certificate for? I was just wondering in case that was not intentional.

            It’s 100% intentional. In addition to the GlobalSign certificate, Notepad++ is also signed using the self-signed root certificate that it used starting with v8.8.3.
