Multi-Line Search & Replace Across Multiple Folders
-
Hi,
I’m using the multi-line search and replace function in Notepad++ by pressing ALT+SHIFT+F, which brings up the multi-line search and replace box.
This allows me to replace one or more lines with several lines of code for every file in the open folder.
BUT, the problem is that there are about 80 folders! So I have to open every folder within Notepad++ and do this each time for each folder.
So is there a way of doing this over multiple folders, so that I only have to do the operation once, instead of 80 times?
Thanks from a very time-pressed web owner!

The default for Find in Files is Ctrl+Shift+f, not Alt+Shift+f.

Well, if the files are all in one parent “tree”, just specify to top-level in the Directory box and checkmark the Include subfolders checkbox.
